Wedding Wednesday - Plum and Silver Wedding

Welcome to this week's edition of Wedding Wednesday! Each week Kati of The Finer Things and I chose one invitation and present two unique inspiration boards. Today we have selected a plum and silver invitation from FineStationery.com. This color combination would be lavishly lovely for a winter or fall wedding set in the evening. I can just imagine the beautiful glow of candlelight against silver...

- Wedding gown and bridal bouquet - I absolutely love this dress for today's theme. The silver accents and glow make it just stunning. The purple hued bouquet is made up of anemones, wax flowers and clematis leaves all brought together with an ornate ribbon.

- Silver beaded wreath surrounding 3 votives - I spoke above about the glimmer of candlelight off of silver elements and this is exactly what I was talking about. A similar idea would be to place candles atop mirrors. Would look great on your reception table, your buffet table, your ceremony altar, your guest book table, etc.

- Purple floral centerpiece and purple place setting - If you'd prefer a floral centerpiece, consider a simple purple anemone arrangement in a low square vase or wooden planter. The antique plum plate really makes a standard white place setting pop.
