25th Wedding Wednesday Celebration!

Today's Wedding Wednesday is extra special - it's our 25th post! At the end of this month, we'll also be celebrating 6 months of Wedding Wednesday inspiration boards! To commemorate this exciting occasion, we wanted to throw a party that everyone would be able to attend, so we are hosting a virtual fĂȘte!

As with every Wedding Wednesday, we start each post with an invitation that inspires us. For our celebration we've selected this luxurious navy and aquamarine invitation from FineStationery.com. The envelope liner features a delicate lace circle motif and provides an inspiring palate of beige, white, lavender, sea foam green and multiple hues of blue.

We invite you to join us by creating your very own inspiration board based on this invitation! Then, post it on your own blog and link back to this post or submit to me via email by August 18th. On August 20th, Kati and I will reveal our inspiration boards and share our favorites. And finally, what kind of party would it be without "favors"? We'll be giving away some fabulous prizes - but you'll have to wait until the big day to find out more!

Wedding Wednesday - A Silver Wedding

Welcome to another edition of Wedding Wednesday, where Kati of The Finer Things and I take one invitation and take two unique event interpretations. This week we're planning a wedding focused on this metallic silver fern invitation from FineStationery.com.

Champagne Anniversary Party

Today's post features a champagne themed anniversary party. Elegant and refined, a glass of champagne is the symbol of celebration. So, what better element to center an anniversary event around? See below for links to my picks for a champagne anniversary party.

(Top to bottom and left to right)
- Cork place card or table number holder
- Displayed bottles of champagne
- Glasses stylishly set out as part of the decor (I love the look of glass in the evening, especially with dim lights and candles)
- Pair of champagne glasses invitation from FineStationery.com
- Centerpiece made with roses, stephanotis, pink glass beads and glass champagne bubbles all arranged in an oversize champagne glass
- Champagne colored place setting with menu card
- Custom monogram wall decor
- Angel cakes make for an elegant non-cake dessert
- Clear round favor containers filled with champagne-flavored gumdrops
