I bought, on Ebay of all places, a 20 carat citron cocktail ring. I wear it to every party, I just love it! I got such a good deal on it and it is such a great conversation piece. I feel a bit more "dressed" when I wear it.
Would love those socks!
Thanks.

These socks are super comfy! I like to do themed gift baskets for my parties. I would include sparkling lemonade in vintage bottles, home spa treatments, nail polish, and fluffy slippers!

I've always thought a hot chocolate bar, with all sorts of fun mix-ins and toppings would be a great way to create a luxurious but cozy atmosphere for an intimate, evening party.

I made favors for a baby shower that turned out oh so cute. They were baby blue candles in votives, wrapped in tulle fabric, tied with a big blue ribbon and attached was a poem that said "Here's a candle for you to light, Once the stork has made its flight. With the flicker of the flame, Say a prayer in the baby's name". Everyone at the shower went home with a candle on behalf of baby and mother.
Love the striped socks!

I did a party favor of "Jamie's Favorite Things" in a fun little bag that included my favorite package of hot chocolate, Hershey's Kisses, one of my fave books (from my own bookshelf), and a mixed CD with liner notes explaining why I loved each song.

Heart your blog!

These socks would be perfect for a girls weekend/staycation at a local hotel. I'm thinking massages, pedicures, champagne and KN socks!
Thanks,

Love the socks! My favorite thing to do before a party is have my hair blown out. It's just the added little touch that gets me ready for the night!

Amazingly enough, I think that NO party can do without a GOOD bottle of white wine, especially something sweet. And those socks are SOOO cute!!!

I think a nice bottle of wine sure accessorizes any party nicely-- especially a girl's night (with no kiddos :) )! And with those socks too?! Sounds like a piece of heaven to me!

How cute are these socks! I am the one in my family with cold feet. I'm always looking for creative ways to keep them warm and soft.

I like to give my party guests little baskets with mini champagne bottles, bath slats and lotions and dark chocolates. I like them to feel special!

I think it's a luxurious idea to have live music at a party. Once we had a cocktail party and had a harpist playing. People were mesmerized! Love the socks!

These are so great! They look comfy. These would be great for a "Girl's Night Out" party. They can be used as favors! I worked for a non-profit and we had a PJ Party as a fundraiser and we all dresed in PJ had slippers and socks on and had a great time. I wish we would have had a basket full of these to give out!!!

Cute snuggy socks! I really liked the comment about having them on hand for guests. My youngest daughter would steal these in a second if I won them :) She is a soft sock freak.
Thanks

I once purchased a dozen individual cocktail shakers for a martini party. Everyone had their own shaker.

These are delightful!

I'm a fan of handknit things myself, and have in the past given away baskets filled with fluffy balls of Debbie Bliss cashmerino yarn along with bamboo needles and instructions for a simple yet cozy scarf.

Too be pampered!
In addition to all of the time I spend planning themed events and parties...I like to make my home life an event for my family, neighbors and friends.
If I had a beautiful basket of these treats, I would place them right inside my front door! So when guests came over, they could remove their shoes, and wear these socks in my house. The coziness may encourage them to stay awhile and enjoy a bottle of wine by the fire!

Those are really cute socks. I like personalizing anything with guests' names to add a special touch (bags, aprons, etc.)

I love to make decorated sugar cookies that spell out each persons name and package them with cellophane and ribbon.

These socks look amazingly cozy!

The moust luxurious gift that i gave in a party was little bags of sea salt that i bought from my trip to Croatia! Of course i gave this after a lovely dinner party with a lot of sea food!

Here's another idea that links the socks to entertaining: When the weather is bad due to snow or rain, I ask guests to take off their shoes. But I'm a firm believer that if you ask guests to remove their shoes, then you'd better offer them something to put on their feet instead. It's not nice to ask guests to walk around in panty hose ;) I always put a basket of chenille socks by the door so guests have the option to put on some cozy, warm socks if they'd wish. Guests use the socks 9 out of 10 times.
