Wedding Wednesday - A Black & Ecru Wedding

Welcome to another edition of Wedding Wednesday, where Kati of The Finer Things and I take one invitation and create two unique event interpretations. This week we're planning a wedding based on this black and ecru ribboned invitation from FineStationery.com.

I'm sure I've said it before but black and white (or ecru in this case) is one of my most beloved color combinations. So, when we picked this week's invitation I was very happy to create another event dedicated to my favorite color pairing. Here are my picks for a stunning black and ecru wedding:

- Bridesmaid attire - black gown with an ecru sash and vintage brooch

- Groom boutonniere made of cream calla lilies and black ribbon
